Michael Jackson was known other wise as the king of pop. AS for me i wasn't a big Mj fan, nevertheless i like a few of his music like Man in the mirror. In the song he said he is starting with the man in the mirror. I think some of us need to start with the man in the mirror too. My parents and grandmother are big fans, they were alive when he was at his prime. Whether young or old on June 25,2009 when the world heard that MJ had die it touch u instantly. The has lost an Icon that cannot be replaced. Yes chris Brown and Neyo try but they aren't he even close to be the type of man he his. I really touch me that at the age of 50 when he is underweigh and washed up he was going to still try to cme back, the the type of drive he has that others don't. The world will miss Michael Jackson sadly even me will miss him too. At times I just sit back and listen to his songs that touch my heart.M J

I have grow to love the game of basketball. I play every chance i get, And i know am getting better every time I practice. This basketball season is going to be interesting. Because some many teams have good players. Am hoping cavs will win it all. The reason i say cavs is because my favorite player is on that team. Which is Lebron James. Sports

I got a exactly seven brothers. I know that sound like a lot about there are people who have more than that. Some parent have like 14 kids. One thing that i hate about about my parents is that they only have one girl. so some times i wish i had more sister. Like a bigger sister. However there are close females that have taken me on as there little bro. sisters

Background

Am a native of the island of Jamaica. My parents were also born there. Jamaica is a wonderful place to visit. Our National dish is ackee and selfish with banana and domplin. Millions of people come year after year to visit my country.

• 1/2 lb. Saltfish (codfish)
• 1 dozen ackees
• 1 small onion
• 1 teaspoon black pepper
• 3 slices hot scotch bonnet pepper
• 1 small red sweet pepper
• cooking oil

METHOD:

1. Soak Saltfish in warm water to taste.
2. After soaking saltfish (codfish), place it in cold water and boil.
3. Clean the achee. Remove the seeds and all traces of interior red pit from the ackees.
4. Wash ackees five times
5. Cover and boil until moderately soft.
6. Drain, cover, and put aside.
7. Pick up(flake) the saltfish and remove all bones.
8. Saut thinly sliced onions and sweet pepper rings.
9. Remove half of the fried onions and peppers
10. Add saltfish and the ackees, and turn the fire/stove up slightly.
11. Add black pepper

As for back as i can remember i been playin sport. Cause i grew up in jamaica it was soccer.

Soccer was like my lunch and dinner. However since the last 3 years i have been playin basketball.

I dont like to make my self sound better than i am sound just see me on the court sometime.

This year am considering playin for both the soccer team and the basketball team here at Benjamin Bannaker. Hey it and alot of work but i think i can do it.

Besides it will look gud and a college application. Watch out for the superstar a.k.a. STICKS. Soccer.
